Recipes - Juicers

We have the answer

The answer is simple – purchase a juicer. Owning a juicer has many benefits. Purchasing a juicer is a great way to provide you and your family with quick nutritious drinks. Children who grow up eating a healthy diet tend to be healthier adults, so why not introduce them to a fun way to get their daily fruits and vegetables.

Health drinks

You can put raw vegetables or fruit in your juicer and within minutes have a great tasting drink that you can take with you on the go. Also, in cooking vegetables, we lose many of the nutrients. You can retain those by nutrients by mixing up a wholesome shake of your favorite raw vegetables in a juicer.

What to look for?

What should you look for when purchasing a juicer? One of the most important things is ease of use. If you buy a juicer that is too complicated, you will be less likely to use it. But, if the juicer is easy to use and clean up, you will use it more often. Another thing to look for when buying a juicer is exactly how much juice extract you get per vegetable. You want to get the maximum amount of juice from your juicer, but some keep the pulp in the basket and that reduces the amount of juice you actually get. If you purchase a juicer that retains the pulpv, put it back in your juice. The pulp is high in fiber and helps cleanse your system.

Types of Juicers

There are different types of juicers. A centrifugal juicer is usually the least expensive juicer you can purchase. It grinds the fruits and vegetables together then pushes them through a strainer, causing it to produce less juice. However, it is a great juicer to for individuals or families on a limited budget. The masticating juicer produces a healthier drink because it chews up the fibers of the fruits and vegetables and retains the pulp, but is more expensive.

Quality of Juicers

If you plan to use your juicer on a daily basis, you may want to invest in a better quality juicer. Most of the inexpensive juicers are not make to be used everyday and will wear out easily. But, if you are new to juicers and not sure how much you will enjoy it, one of the less expensive juicers is a great option.
